Owner & CEO
Dan’s the guy who started it all. You might say he found his passion for craftsmanship in a woodworking high school class. Wasting no time jumping into the industry, he traveled across the U.S. gaining a sense of national style and demand through a wide assortment of jobs. Later, joining larger construction firms, Dan grew as a builder and broke into commercial and large residential projects. Honing his woodworking skills he owned and operated a custom cabinetry/furniture company for six years. Then, in 1996, he established Ransom Carpentry to provide Michigan with the superior quality our Great Lakes State deserves. Now, 18 years strong, his business has grown to serve an even greater number of fantastic Michiganders!
You can count on Mary to keep everything at Ransom Carpentry running smoothly. She’s a professional time management, tackle it all kind of woman by trade (aka mother of five). From day one, Mary’s been an integral part of the company providing fantastic business direction and financial management expertise from years of past work experience. Chances are, she’ll be the first voice you hear upon dialing Ransom Carpentry and make it a point to guaranteeing your satisfaction every step of the way. Mary’s not afraid to get down in the dirt to make things happen either: you’ll likely find her on a job site from time to time.
Ransom Carpentry strives to provide the highest quality products in a manner that is always reliable, superior, and valuable in order to exceed the needs of every client with finished results designed to maintain structural, aesthetic, and functional integrity for generations to come.
